The Geo Game
The Purpose of the GeoGo Game:
- Bring fun, comradery, and competition to tourism
- Share the wealth of knowledge from local professionals with GeoGo Members World-Wide
- Create new exciting ways for Business Owners to communicate, advertise, reward, and promote to travelers
- Offer travelers valuable discounts for visiting, and points towards future trips
- Give travelers just what they like, at each destination
- Offer business owners new technology for marketing directly to the audience's preference and personal interests
How the GeoGame is Played:
- Search and find the destination you would like to visit
- Follow the map toward the chosen location
- Once you have arrived within the preset distance to the target your APP will alert you via color change of mapping area, or a pop-up window and form to fill out.
- Fill out the form, snap a picture, give it a title, a rating, & submit
- The Image will be stored for sharing, and be posted to the GeoGo bulletin board system
- The points for the location will now appear in the top right-hand side of the APP, and be placed in your back-office home module, under My Points
- If the location being visited is owned, or adopted by a business, a secondary screen will pop up with more information and a reward for acceptance
- Simply complete the action and submit to accept the reward
- A QR code will be stored in the back-office module My Rewards
- If and when you visit the location business, simply show the QR code to receive the reward or discount
Non Fixed Locations:
- Plant Life
- Animal Life
- Underwater Life
These items have multiples, and may be seen by the traveler playing the game in many different locations
To accommodate game functionality, when you see one of these items, take your picture and save it to your device
A specified Geo-location will be designated at the destination, for each category, to finalize the game points and collect all rewards
The Individual DAPP mapping will guide to the collection point for that category
All items with the same category will share the same geo-location
Simply get within 10 miles of the geo-location of each and finalize your location tiles
Remember to log into the Backoffice prior to playing the GeoGo Game
At login you will be asked a yes/no question
Do you want to register this device?
Registering the device will by-pass the username and password for the next login
Only register the device if it is a personal use device for the member
Once logged in, from the 'Member Home' hit the button go to search to begin play
You must be logged in prior to receiving points, and rewards
